Tammy Tran is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner
with many years of healthcare experience caring for patients of all ages. Her clinical background includes cardiovascular care, medical-surgical nursing, subacute care, chronic disease management, and family medicine. Tammy is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that focuses on the whole person—not just treating illness but helping patients achieve long-term health and wellness.
Originally from California, Tammy moved to Georgia as a child and has proudly called Georgia home ever since. She began her healthcare journey by serving Atlanta’s homeless and underserved communities as a Medical Assistant for five years. That experience inspired her lifelong commitment to providing quality, accessible healthcare and advocating for patients from all walks of life.
Tammy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in 2008 and spent the next decade caring for patients
throughout the Emory/DeKalb Healthcare System. During that time, she gained experience in multiple specialties while serving in both direct patient care and nursing leadership roles. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Since then, Tammy has found her true passion in Primary Care
and Family Medicine, where she enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and partnering with them to prevent illness, manage chronic
conditions, and improve their overall quality of life. Tammy believes every
patient deserves to be heard, respected, and treated with compassion. She
strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable
asking questions, actively participating in their care, and working together to achieve their health goals.
Tammy is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population and provide
culturally sensitive, personalized care. Outside of the office, she enjoys
spending time with her family, traveling, and discovering new restaurants and boba tea shops.
