Akua Aninkorah is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Toccoa Falls College, a Christian college in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. Akua practiced as a registered nurse for many years in the hospital setting. With competency and proficiency in direct patient care, she pursued a graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of North Alabama. Akua provides and cares for her patients with passion. With patient education being her goal in primary care, she equips patients to be a part of managing their health by encouraging and motivating patients with the necessary resources and knowledge-based materials available to promote health and prevent long-term complications with chronic diseases. She believes in a team-based approach; a provider-patient relationship to promote health. Akua is married and has two wonderful children.
